BIOGRAPHY


Bar Am-David was born in 1985 and raised in Tel Aviv and Caesarea, Israel.

His passion for photography evolved when he was 18 years old. At that time he volunteered for the Israeli national service by living and working in a collective community (Kibbutz) at the northern border of Israel next to Lebanon. Continuously he travelled the world for two years covering four continents, an experience which enriched his life greatly.

He is a London based photographer, and has completed Photography BA (Hons) degree at Middlesex University, UK.

He has exhibited internationally in Malaysia, Singapore and various locations around London and the UK. He has also recently exhibited at the Foto8 SummerShow at Host Gallery in Old Street, London. His photographs have been featured on numerous websites such as www.foto8.com on the “story of the week” section and also on www.privatephotojournalism.com

He is currently exhibiting at the National Portrait Gallery as part of the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize.
